Verge Valet Customers are Happy Customers!

Town of Mosman Park and WMRC's exclusive Verge Valet trial service has been overwhelmingly popular with residents, with bookings filling fast and customers being very happy with the service. One of the many comments received include, "Great service. Everything left neat and tidy and it was great that they came so early. Couldn't be happier."

During the trial, Mosman Park residents can select a bulk waste and/or green waste collection at a time convenient to you by completing a simple collection request form. Collections are weekly, and spots fill quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment. Once your collection is booked, place your items on the verge a day or two before collection and it will be collected, sorted and recycled. The streamlined process means the verge is left neat and tidy sooner and more ends up being recycled and less ends up in landfill.

If you are not in the Town of Mosman Park, but would like this service for your area, please register your interest or email vergevalet@wmrc.wa.gov.au.

Drowning in disposables?

Did you know that a baby will use between 4,000 and 6,000 nappies before they are toilet trained? Given that the average disposable nappy takes about 500 years to decompose, it is likely that every disposable nappy ever worn is still out there. Somewhere... Not to mention the thousands of dollars spent  buying all those nappies!

If you have been wondering about modern cloth nappies, and whether they are worth the switch, this workshop might be for you!

When: Saturday 21 March
Time: 10.30am - 11.30am
Where: The Grove Library, 1 Leake St, Peppermint Grove

Tickets cost $5 each + booking fee, which includes light refreshments. Book now at
Eventbrite.
