What we want to create is a safe place where you can speak openly and honestly about issues that are confronting you. Navigating AS alone can be challenging and stressful but having a community of support can help to alleviate that stress. The sea changes occurring now in AS are many. They will continue to be challenging for men on their cancer journey.

Together we can share our experience, strength, and wisdom. We will discuss topics of concern and matters of importance for the men calling in. We hope you will join us. By doing so you will help us by talking about issues you find important, meaningful, and even troublesome. You are welcome to come and just listen, but we do encourage participation.

Finding and using your voice is an important way to help men recover their sense of purpose and helps them recover control of their lives after a diagnosis of cancer.  We have a fair amount of collective knowledge of navigating AS, Mark having been on AS for 15 yrs., and Ken for over 7 yrs., and Gene who frequently joins us over 10 yrs.  Some of you have asked what our approach has been.  We will try to address this in these calls. Patients communicating with patients is important for men’s health and quality of life.

ASPI interprets data and shares it with men with BPH, with rising PSA, are newly diagnosed with prostate cancer (PCa), and on Active Surveillance (AS). We are growing a network of Patients, Spouses, Partners, and Sons that communicate with each other to improve our quality of life without fear or stress. We firmly believe that we can empower PCa patients on their cancer journey.

It is a huge responsibility and workload that we tackle every day

Patients talking to patients will become a very strong voice when it comes to our health care. We are on this journey together and we intend to be healthy along the way.  You are not alone.
