The Chippewa Falls Chamber’s Annual Meeting was a roaring success, with over 350 members in attendance. There was jazzy entertainment on the stage and a live canvas painting in the ballroom. However, the number of members able to work the room was the real win as attendees took advantage of the new format that allowed for more networking and a concise, impactful program.

During the program, Ben Lane was thanked for his service as the 2019 Board Chair, and Amy Forcier-Pabst was welcomed as the incoming 2020 Board Chair. There were many highlights to share from 2019, including the positive progress made in the Chamber’s Workforce Attraction Campaign. An important goal moving forward is to identify and work with our local stakeholders to find industrial property for our businesses to expand and for us to welcome new business to Chippewa Falls.

The Chamber is excited to enter 2020 on track to grow membership to a record-breaking 700 businesses and, again, extends a heartfelt thank you to the current members for the efforts they make each day to help our community flourish.

We're seeking sponsorships to launch Royal Credit Union's program, Test Drive, in the Chippewa Falls high schools. This two-day simulation opens students' eyes to living as an adult on a budget. Students will select a career path, receive a salary, and then be expected to live within their means balancing expenses such as housing, utilities, and pets.

For a $150 Sponsorship, companies will not only be bringing a hands-on educational opportunity to students, they can also expect to:

Interact with students during the event as advisors
Be recognized in Chamber newsletter, social media, & event promotions
Market their company through hand-outs and giveaways at the event

Sponsorship deadline of February 14.

26th Annual Chippewa Valley Rally
Tuesday, February 25, 2020
Location: Best Western Premier Park Hotel & Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison
Organized by the Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance, including the Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire and Menomonie Chambers of Commerce

The business community in Wisconsin continues to look for state leadership on critical workforce issues, including education, encouraging apprenticeships/internships, and talent attraction/retention. Those will be among the key issues discussed with state policymakers at the 26th Annual Chippewa Valley Rally.  It's a unique opportunity to bring the collective voice of Chippewa Valley business and community leaders to Madison all at one time. With workforce issues at the top of the agenda, we'll be there to emphasize the impact on our region of initiatives being undertaken or considered by the state government, including education, infrastructure and more.

Optional same-day round trip bus transportation is available, as well as discounted hotel rates for those who want to combine the trip with other business and stay overnight.
