The Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka NSW Chapter presents Engineering Excellence Awards annually to honour outstanding achievements in engineering in the following categories

• Best paper published
• Best innovation and/or invention
• Best applied engineering project

Two awards, the winner and highly commended will be awarded for each category.
