UPDATES:
- Last Monday (1/27) representatives from various ELCA ministries (advocacy, young adult, multicultural, disaster response, stewardship, and more) gathered to begin the process of more effectively collaborating to empower creation care work throughout our church from the institution, to the pews, and out in the world.
- Later this week, we have a meeting to determine how best to offer Blessed Tomorrow's Ambassador Program as an online training opportunity (it will happen!)
- New England Synod is aiming to celebrate Earth Day turning 50 by inviting at least 50 of their churches to make a Covenant with Creation and start their own Action Plan. Would your synod take the challenge too?
- Keep the Coaching for Creation Care Program in mind for anyone you think can help others reach their goals - next online training is March 21st.
- ELCA's Advocacy office is working on more materials regarding the broader issues of Church & State (in regards to our ongoing need to practice speaking to one another about difficult subjects). We are still collecting your concerns and intentions. Email us with work/challenges/opportunities from the field.
