New Fitness & Community Centers Open at Tower Villas Condominium

In November 2019, the Tower Villas Condominium celebrated the grand opening of their new Fitness Center and Community Center spaces. Located in Arlington County, the 18-story 1975 condo building previously had a small community room and fitness room, but they were both inadequate for the needs of the community. DIAG Studios provided design services to expand the existing spaces and upgrade the materials and equipment. The new Fitness Center, 2.5 times larger, includes new recycled rubber gym flooring, two accessible restrooms, new window openings to allow for more light and visibility and all new Matrix fitness equipment. The Community Center doubled in size and added features include a generous pantry, two accessible restrooms, storage, and an employee break room and pantry.  The Community Center also has the ability to accommodate overflow space and indoor/outdoor parties with two sets of nanawall folding doors that open up to the exterior pool patio and to the interior hallway. Project Team includes:

Owner: Tower Villas Condominium
Architect: DIAG Studios
MEP: Potomac Energy Group
Structural: Simpson Gumpertz & Heger
General Contractor: Pizzano Contractors
