 DAY TWO RUNDOWN
SUMMITEERS: Due to the heavy snow, registration will be pushed back by 15 minutes. We will keep you updated on any other updates on the app and through social media.

Registration and breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. Head to the Summit early to avoid lines and warm up with a hot breakfast and coffee! Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, halal and kosher meals available.

Seating is available on all floors. Find a table in the dining hall or study areas, snag a breakout room for a working breakfast, or settle in soft seating by the fireplace in the fourth floor lounge. If you are headed to the mainstage events at 9 a.m., please arrive early as seating is limited. The events will be live-streamed to the Garff Building as well.

Can’t make it to the Summit? Stream it live here.

 MAINSTAGE ADDRESS
Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation, will address Summiteers as a speaker on reimagining capitalism and the future of philanthropy alongside Valerie Rockefeller.

 MAINSTAGE PANEL

Indian Country (American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian communities) in the U.S. and Indigenous communities globally have for too long been overlooked. Due to the organizing and shareholder advocacy led by Native peoples, more direct place-based investment opportunities and intermediary funds to support Indigenous communities are popping up. This panel features a diverse cross-section of leaders who are growing the Indigenous-focused funds and capital needed to support large scale American Indian projects. Attendees will explore how the power dynamic and return on investment varies within Indian Country investments.

 MAINSTAGE FIRESIDE

We have heard time and time again that we need at least $2.5 trillion per year if we are to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) by 2030. One bank is testing how to offer clients the opportunity to directly address this challenge in ways that measurably benefit the bottom of the pyramid in some of the most resource-constrained countries.

 MORE MAINSTAGE PANELS

The “Scaled Impact: From the Shadows to the Mainstream” panel will explore trends in large dollar impact investments, what this trend means for the investment sector overall, and how we continue to make impact investing a standard part of investing overall.
Panelists will discuss current and emerging policy ideas to catalyze private capital for public good and the sectors where policy can be most effective. The panelists will identify emerging policy ideas in the impact investing field broadly, as well as specific efforts underway to develop policies to grow, evolve and sustain the pay for success field.
Moderator Chid Liberty, founder and CEO of Liberty & Justice, will explore the importance of storytelling with panelists whose work bridges multimedia, investing, community engagement, and access to basic services like water, sanitation, and education.

 LAST DEEP DIVE SESSION

Deep Dive Sessions will run from 1:30 to 3:00 PM in the Garff building. Take a moment to learn more about each of the incredible Deep Dives scheduled through the Summit App or the Summit Website.
