What's in store for March? At Maleny Commerce we will be introducing to you the concept of a Maleny Gift Card.
At our March breakfast we will have a video link presentation from Ashley Watt, Operations & Innovations Manager for Why Leave Town Promotions.
Why Leave Town's (WLT) Gift Card program is an EFTPOS based system aimed at keeping money within communities by encouraging people to shop locally.
Simply put instead of going into the post office to purchase a Bunnings or Target or another gift card, you can purchase a Maleny Gift Card that can be redeemed at any Maleny participating store. Keeping money local!
Anne and Scott will be approaching all our CBD businesses next week to introduce them to the concept and ask them to attend a presentation.

Thank you to Bruce Gibson of Maleny Web Design for creating our new website. It was made possible with a grant from the Sunshine Coast Council.
As this is a new website we are looking at updating all logs and business details. Please check your details and email admin@malenycommerce.com.au of any changes and any new logos. If you search and you are not on the list we are currently listing all the 2020 members so check back soon.
Bruce has kindly offered to help you if you need a new logo. Bruce is happy to create one for you for $75 (multiple sizes and formats). Your logo is your brand so make it count.
4th Edition Maleny Map
Hello Previous Advertisers,
We have now issued 18,000 of our latest tourist map but it's time for an update. The feedback we get from this map makes us understand there still is a need for paper maps.
Would you please contact Kay (Administration) admin@malenycommerce.org.au if you are interested in promoting your business again. Alternatively Kay will be in contact during March to secure your spot.
This year we are going to do an official launch and host a photographic competition for the front page of the map to be displayed at a Maleny venue to be voted on. Therefore securing more marketing for our sponsors.
