2nd International Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer Symposium

LBCA is pleased to sponsor the 2nd International Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer Symposium.  The 2nd International ILC Symposium will bring together national and international experts presenting new findings from basic, translational and clinical lobular research.  

Keynote lectures will be delivered by Tari King, MD, Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center, Boston MA Surgical issues in Lobular Disease (May 14th) and Christine Desmedt, PhD, KU Leuven, Belgium ILC Genomics and Implication for Immunotherapy (May 16th).

The #lobular2020 Symposium will kick off with a Lobular Advocacy Bootcamp on Thursday, May 14th from 8:00am to 4:30pm.  This patient-friendly, advocate-focused session will be a day of learning tailored to patients, former patients, caregivers and established breast cancer advocates and organizational representatives interested in learning about lobular breast cancer and how they can help advance lobular research and educate others about this disease.  

Limited travel scholarships are available for advocates - applications must be submitted by February 15th.

Please spread the word about this symposium to current or future lobular advocates, health providers and researchers who may be interested in attending this symposium and learning about lobular breast cancer.
