Greetings,
As you may have heard during yesterday's services, we have some exciting news on our horizon. For many years, the facilities team has been working on finding the right long-term space for Renaissance Church to meet. For the year that I've been on staff, I've been working with them on this task.

The Summit Opera House has served Renaissance Church well since 2004, but as many of you know, our lease expires in June. We are pleased to tell you that Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Springfield voted to allow us to begin a process of negotiation with them for acquiring their facility.

The opportunity to purchase this facility surfaced fairly quickly, and we thank God for his provision. The building is less than four miles away from the Opera House, and there is more than 30,000 square feet of space to meet. Worship can happen on the ground floor, and there is an elevator to reach other floors. There is also plenty of room for groups, programs, and connections.

There are still many details to navigate. It will take some time, work, and finances in the coming months. In the meantime, I ask that you pray in earnest as we continue working out the many details of this acquisition. We also encourage you to join us at the Opera House for Vision Night on February 20, at 7 pm, for further details.
