IPAA is pleased to invite you to a Secretary Series event with Rosemary Huxtable PSM, Secretary of the Department of Finance.

Ms Huxtable is responsible for all functions and services delivered by the Finance Department including the preparation and delivery of the Australian Government Budget, overseeing the financial framework of Australian Government agencies, shareholder oversight of government business enterprises and managing the Australian Government’s non-defence domestic property portfolio and key asset sales. Ms Huxtable plays a key role in driving Australian Public Service (APS) modernisation and the delivery of efficient, cost-effective services, and managing both shared services policy and delivery through the Service Delivery Office.

Ms Huxtable has worked extensively in the areas of health and community services across the public and private sectors, including a period on ministerial staff, managing a private consulting business based in Western Australia, and more than 25 years’ experience in Commonwealth administration. In 2005 Ms Huxtable received a Public Service Medal for her work on Medicare.
