This week Sulis Fine Art is delighted to present a collection of original watercolours by the artist Cecil Cross.
We also present an extensive collection of works by Vera Cuningham (1897-1955), as well as additions to our successful John Ivor Stewart and Howard Morgan series.
Known for his portraits, Morgan has painted many significant sitters including Queen Elizabeth II. His works are held in collections across the UK, including at the National Portrait Gallery and the V&A.
Stewart was a founding member of the Society of Botanical Artists, and later became President of the Pastel Society. He depicted his favourite subjects with great passion and unrelenting fervour.
A member of The London Group, Cuningham had her first solo exhibition in 1929 at the Bloomsbury Gallery. She lived and exhibited her works in both Paris and London.
This 20th Century British artist was a member of the City & Guilds Sketch Club. His vibrant works illustrate well his artistic eye, with a focus on the English Countryside.
