How do I select personal pronouns in my student user account?
Great news -- you can select personal pronouns to add to your user account! Personal pronouns display after your name in various areas in Canvas.
This is an optional feature and users who would like to leave their setting as "None" may choose to do so.

Join the Badgr Team for a webinar to learn about all the new features they've rolled out for 2020. Learn how to use the Organization Dashboard to implement a badging program. See new reporting and analytics features and discuss ways to implement QR codes to earn badges. The group will also spend a few minutes on the Canvas LTI and Pathways LTI that can be used in any LMS.

New Course and User Analytics Feature Option
The New Course and User Analytics functionality is now available in all courses. This change allows institutions to preview new Course and User Analytics in their courses before they are enabled by default for all institutions on 21 March 2020.

How do I use the Training Services Portal as an instructor?
As an instructor, you have access to the Training Services Portal to complete self-paced training resources on a variety of Canvas topics, live trainings, and webinars.

Georgia Tech at the IMS Digital Credentials Summit
The IMS Global Learning Consortium will take place on February 11 and 12, 2020 in Atlanta. Georgia Tech's innovative work in digital credentials will be on display in several presentations from Nelson Baker, dean of Georgia Tech Professional Education, and Matt Lisle, director of digital learning technologies in the Center for 21st Century Universities.

Canvas Release Notes - January and February
In this Canvas release (January 18), admins can allow users to associate their user profiles with pronouns. The New Gradebook, Course Card Images, Rubric Criterion Range, and Student Context Card feature options will be turned on for all institutions and will no longer be optional in Canvas.
In this Canvas upcoming release, Gradebook import CSV files will ignore reserved name columns as well as hidden and deleted custom columns.
