Blue Skies Ahead?

With the long first month of the year now behind us; we are looking forward to seeing how the many planning applications and Reserved Matters submissions, which we are involved with, progress this year.

One of these is at Abbey Meads, on the northern edge of Swindon. The artist's impression above shows part of the Barratt Homes proposals for the final 127 homes at this mixed-use site. The residential layout seeks to deliver an efficient built form, whilst delivering a series of small incidental spaces to help create an attractive and legible final residential area within this mixed-use site.
East Lydney
Rerserved Matters proposals have been submitted for 148 new homes at East Lydney on behalf of Crest Nicholson. The parcel sits within green infrastructure, and is part of a wider development of up to 750 new homes and a primary school.
High Street, Honiton
We designed two new homes within a long burgage plot behind the High Street at Honiton, East Devon. The planning application seeks to provide an attractive addition in keeping with the character of this market town.

This month we have revisited development sites at Hygge Park, Keynsham and Tadpole Garden Village, Swindon, both of which we assisted Crest Nicholson with. We are pleased to see how the open-plan Aurora housetype range, with which we were also involved, is looking on the ground.
