FINDING HIS PURPOSE

This week marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day, an annual international event dedicated to remembering the 6 million Jews and 11 million others killed by the Nazis during World War II. It coincides with the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and death camp.

Around the world, people continue to do their part to never let the world forget about the evils of the Holocaust and to celebrate the indomitable spirit of the survivors. Artist Robert Sutz is one of those determined to never forget. Sutz creates what he calls irrefutable evidence of one of the darkest chapters in human history. He calls it proof for those who don’t believe and a painful reminder to those who might forget. Find out how people who’ve survived unimaginable pain and terror are talking — some for the first time ever — about what it was like to live under the threat of Nazi horrors.

This week, Growing Bolder Founder/CEO Marc Middleton delivered the opening presentation at the first-ever Gasparilla Inn Wellness Experience at the historic Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande, Florida. The event is produced by BB&R Wellness Consulting, an innovative company whose mission is to share what founders Doro Bush Koch and Tricia Reilly Koch have learned in their journeys to wellness. Both are amazing women, and of course, Doro is the daughter of President George H.W. Bush and the sister of George W. Bush -- the only woman who is a sister and daughter to U.S. Presidents. The day began with a sunrise mindful movement class led by former NFL star turned yoga master Keith Mitchell. The Wellness Experience is a week-long event focused on nutrition, stress, longevity, sleep, humor and more. Next week, we'll bring you our interviews with Doro and Tricia and you'll learn more about their passion for focusing on health and wellness.
This week, we kicked off a fun new series -- GB Live! We'll be hosting regular live conversations on the Growing Bolder Facebook and Instagram feeds to chat about issues we're passionate about and interested in discussing with you. In our first GB Live, Growing Bolder Founder/CEO Marc Middleton talked about mortality, something all too many of us avoid discussing, particularly with our loved ones. Make sure to follow Growing Bolder for upcoming GB Live chats, and in the meantime, check out our first one.
