Dear Fellow Book Lovers,

We are delighted to announce that Nicolas Brasch has been appointed Festival Director of Melbourne Jewish Book Week.

Nic’s vision for MJBW includes enhancing the festival’s reputation and position within both the local Jewish community and Victoria’s writing/literary community; exposing audiences to the best Jewish writers from Australa and around the world; and encouraging people to read more Jewish writers.

 

After meeting with the various committees, Nic’s impact has already been felt and the entire MJBW team is very excited to be working with him. With his wide-ranging skills and broad experience in the cultural and literary sector, we are confident that Nic will build on MJBW’s previous successes to lead MJBW to new heights.
