Hello <<First Name>>

Following the troubling number of weeks since the meeting in December, our first mailchimp as things return somewhat to ‘usual’ brings news of what is ahead for Bundanoon.

It’s been a time to see and share the amazing spirit of community in Bundanoon in action and our deep appreciation to RFS Bundanoon and all the crew who joined them from throughout the state to assist. Bundanoon Fire and Rescue who were right there on many occasions and the police and others who were around so often to help, guide and support – thank you.

It has been very comforting to have people come to Bundanoon from near and far to have a coffee in this shop, lunch in another, drop into The Good Yarn and the Bloomery and the newsagent and others as they could, to purchase what they can to support our village businesses and then an afternoon refreshment at another spot in town. Much appreciated.

Still we need to look out for each other and follow any advice we receive but we have reason to feel that things are a little less unsure as the Morton fire is increasingly diminishing. Sadly, other parts of NSW and Australia continue to fight the fires.
