Research Data Culture at UQ: A Forum for Research Students and EMCRs

Date: Friday, 7 February 2020
Time: 9am–5pm
Location: Advanced Engineering Building 49-301, UQ (St Lucia)
Cost: FREE

This is a UQ-based Forum for Research Students and EMCRs. We will provide information (tools, data and culture) that will help you navigate your research career (specially targeted to the UQ research community). The invitation is issued for anyone who is interested in the topic of "Research Data Culture".

To be data-driven requires an overarching data culture that couples several elements, including high-quality trusted data, broad and relevant access, data literacy and fit data-driven decision-making processes.

If your research involves data then come to learn about what resources are available to you as a researcher.

The forum is from 9am to 12pm. Optional workshops from 1pm to 5pm.

This event is organised and sponsored by The Characterisation Community.
