CityReach is an overnight urban outreach program giving young people the opportunity to learn first hand about homelessness from people who have experienced it. South Church youth have participated in the program for many years. Regenerative Agriculture can be a major tool in combating climate change as mentioned in our book Drawdown. With news from the Giving Garden, Mark Aude will explain the ideas, benefits and info about the present rate of change in farming in a talk called "Iowa in 2250". Child care available.

Habitat Build Day
This Sat., Feb 1st at 8:30am at Lupine Road
Bundle up and get hands-on on the Lupine Road project! No experience needed. Grab a friend and sign up with Ellen Arvidson. Volunteers 16 and up are welcome. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Town recycling programs are in trouble. We need to be more careful. Many items you think belong in your recycling bin don’t. Putting them in does more harm than good. Not sure? Check out the Recyclopedia here. When in doubt, throw it out!
