Making Resilience of Hope

Rev. Dr. Linda Barnes, Worship Leader
Sarah Dan Jones, Music Director, and Choir

Groundhog Day marks the true midwinter, the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. We are also in the midst of the soon-to-be Presidential Primaries, the impeachment trial, and so much more, all of which present deep challenges. Let us take a moment, to pause together in this middle place, so that we may find hope and, in that hope, our resilience.

Our Stewardship campaign is the financial expression of our mission to cultivate more love in the world and nurture more love for the world.  We pledge our support with gratitude for the joy, purpose and meaning this Fellowship brings to our lives.  In our own words:

“The music at the Fellowship is a spiritual experience for me.  I tear up.  It happens many, many times.”

“I am proud of the way the choir has grown, and that our Fellowship has invested in Sarah Dan.  And I am proud that I can actually sing a cappella.”

“I don’t know who I would be as a human being if I didn’t have this congregation.  I know I am a better person because of my involvement here.  I feel it helps me when thinking about the bad situation in the world.  I get a strength from this group that gives me hope that we can accomplish things together. I can’t imagine life without this fellowship.  May it always continue.”
