While New Years toasts are over, we are still celebrating and building on the momentum we created in 2019!  It was a year for expanding and extending to save more pets. Together, we continue to make great progress saving lives, providing more community education and support, and enabling loving relationships between pets and their families.

We have an exciting year ahead!  We hope you can join us for some of our new activities and programs. We also have established a new partnership with Target and your vote by March 31 will mean a donation for SVPP. See more below!

ATTENTION: TARGET SHOPPERS
We are excited to have been chosen to participate in a special charitable giving campaign, sponsored and funded by Target. Every vote counts to help us receive a portion of the available Target funds as we continue our mission of saving local at-risk shelter pets through rescue, community involvement, and education. Sign up for Target's Circle Program to participate.

Now through March 31, after each Target purchase, vote for us through the Target Circle program to help determine how Target’s donation will be divvied up.

READY FOR ADOPTION
Please share the profile's of our adoptable pets with your network and together let's find them their forever home.

Ginger is 6-7 years old and a real sweetheart, with a penchant for serious snuggles and the odd weekend hike. She loves playing with toys, gets along well with other dogs, ignores kitties, and LOVES kids. Her best life involves a home with another dog (or two!) in it.

This gorgeous feline is the ultimate queen bee. She craves food at all times of the day (and will ask for it), and frankly doesn't see the point of other cats sharing her kingdom. Mandy is seeking a cat savvy human to fall madly in love with her and provide her with the level of doting she has become accustomed to.

RESCUE SPOTLIGHT: BUSTER
Buster came into the shelter as a stray, with no identification or microchip. He was very overweight, and his nails were extremely long suggesting that he had not been exercised at all. We have no idea what may have happened to him only that he was painfully shy of people. It takes a lot of patience to allow a dog to become comfortable in his new environment. Buster also has benefitted from ant-anxiety medication which has helped his rehabilitation.
Buster is currently in a foster to adopt home and doing very well!
