ANNUAL BEACH GRASS PLANTING
Wanna plant some beach grass? You can! The 31st Annual Beach Grass Planting is scheduled for March 21st and DNREC's looking for volunteers. Click here to find out everything you need to know.
SAVE THE TOWER
Save the clock - er, WWII - tower! If you get the movie reference, lemme know ;-) The Delaware Seashore Preservation Foundation and the Fort Miles Historical Association are working diligently to restore the WWII watch towers that dot our coastline. They're currently working on Tower 3 (just south of Dewey) and have just announced upcoming restoration for Towers 1 and 2 (Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach, respectively)!
Check out the latest article here and then head over to their website for more info.
