Blessings from Generous Hearts

During our recent trip to India, we were blessed to be able to preach the Gospel to this group people with leprosy.  Rice and other provisions were provided.  At the same time, those without Bibles were presented with Bibles from a special donation for Bibles for India!  Click Here

This girl (below) was nearly totally blind and needed special medical eye work and glasses in order to see.  Thankfully the Emergency medical fund was able to help this poor Guatemalan girl to see the world as she never has!

Newly donated Bicycles for poor pastors in India.  Bicycles provide the best way to visit the village people, as well as to reach the next village as pastors often preach in more than one congregation.

News From the Field

South Africa

Our Mission: we visited 11 places/congregations excluding the Seminar, mostly new places where we were invited by the thirsty people who wanted to hear the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our schedule was so busy that in some cases we were forced to cancel visiting some places which we planned. No rest Day and night, the missionaries teach and pray tirelessly during their visit. There are many congregations without preachers, which are far apart. Training of preachers is of great necessities Preachers rooted in the Word of God and the teachings.
We thank the F.M and brothers and sisters in ALCA for their support

India

The free medical camp held on this years trip to India was extra special.  All of the volunteers were local Indian people serving their own community. The doctors were church members, the nurses and nurses aids and all the other workers in the clinic were former or current students / children, in the ALC Home of India!    This was truly a special day for us to witness.  All we Americans did was pray for each individual treated,  and we passed out Bible tracts and other small things.

This trip to India we went further into the tribal areas in the mountains than we have ever gone before.  What a joy to serve in areas where few ever go!

One particular story in the Tribal areas made us thankful for how God has blessed our country, (USA).  Just a couple years ago a terrible Cyclone came through and wiped out the entire village that we visited.  Well, in the course of time, an NGO (Non Governmental Organization ) from the USA, came to their village and gave a huge amount of assistance.   They were there a total of 34 days and completed a very beautiful little church (below) as well as many other great projects.  This was not a religious group at all, but rather a humanitarian organization!    The village people are so thankful!   When we Americans came along to preach, they VERY warmly received us!   We thank God for people that do good deeds!  God works in mysterious ways, and perhaps He used this group of aid workers to pave the way for us to preach there!

After one of the sessions with the tribal pastors we had a question and answer session. We asked a question about how they preach to an unbeliever. A pastor simply said. "we preach the Word, and the Holy Spirit does the work."  We say Amen!

It was wonderful to hear from a Pastor at this same place who testified that he formerly was a strong Hindu.  People had over the years given him Bibles.  Three different times he tore the Bible apart and burnt it.  God would not let him rest however, and eventually he repented and believed the Gospel.  Then in 2016 he said he actually heard a voice in the night. He felt it was God telling Him to move from the city where he had a good life, to the remote tribal areas to reach the lost there.  He wanted confirmation that this was really what God wanted. Shortly thereafter, three different pastors who did not know each other, at three different times and locations, all told him he should go to the tribal areas to serve.  This for him was confirmation and now he is spending his entire life in service in those far out places.

Many such stories are told to missionaries at they go throughout the world.  We feel it is not our job to evaluate each story, but rather to do as that first pastor above said: Preach the Word, and the Holy Spirit will do with it as He sees fit.

Church building fund:  We have a small specially donated church completion fund set up.   So far several church roofs have been completed.  The FM believes it best for the local congregations to put their own prayers, sweat, and treasure into their own church so that each congregant takes personal interest in the church.   We do enjoy helping such congregations finish their building, hence the fund.  We have many current needs for church buildings!

Emergency Medical Fund:

Poor Family Fund:
Help in those situations where a family is not able to educate, feed, or otherwise support their children due to death, injury, sickness, or poverty.  Each situation is monitored closely.

The Bible Fund; We get many requests for Bibles. It is such a blessing to give the WORD of LIFE! Click here to donate.
