Parent Update
February 17-21, 2020
February 17       Presidents' day - no school

February 18       Round 2 District Tournament @ Devil Dog Arena - Sr. Lady Rebels play at 7 and Sr. Rebels play at 8:15pm

February 19       Cheer Tryout practice after school until 4:30 for those entering 7-12 next school year.

February 20       District semi-finals begins at 4:30

February 22       District finals begins at 6pm 

February 26       Early dismissal for teacher work day (1:30pm)

March 19             Parent Teacher Conferences

March 23             Spring Break

Dates/Info for Seniors:
  • Mrs. Roscoe emailed all of you information regarding the ASPMA scholarship. Please check your school email or email on file with Renweb to make sure you received it
  • Regions Bank will award 15 scholarships throughout the US to students attending accredited colleges for the 2020-2021 school year. Any senior wanting to apply for this national scholarship needs to see Mrs. Roscoe.
  • UACCM will meet with Seniors on Monday, Feb 24th during 5th period

Tuesday:  Chili w/ Crackers, Corn, Pinto Beans, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Wednesday:  Hot Dog, Fries, Broccoli, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Thursday:  Chicken Nuggets, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Roll, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Friday:  Turkey Sandwich, Potato Soup, Lettuce Cup, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk

Daily Breakfast:
$1/breakfast item | $.50/milk or juice
Breakfast bars, poptarts, breakfast burritos, etc may be available on any given morning.

Juniors will be selling snacks Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in the elementary.  All snacks are $1

Just in case notice: Please refer to the School Handbook for our cyber day policies in the event of inclement weather.

Students have been reminded of this rule, parents please help enforce: only clear cups or bottles are allowed at school.  No Yeti or restaurant cups are allowed.

   
This week we Spotlight sixth grade student, Caroline Dunham. Caroline loves playing basketball and her favorite color is purple. Her favorite television show is Modern Family. Caroline wants to be a counselor when she gets older. She loves Sacred Heart because she has a lot of friends and the teachers are amazing. Congratulations Caroline!
