ChuBacker
Introducing ChuBacker: bringing ideas to life at Churchill through the power of Crowdfunding

In June last year we trialled the College's first crowdfunding project with the College Boat Club, and the ‘Blades for Victory’ campaign doubled the original fundraising target set, raising over £6,000 including gift aid. It was inspiring to see so many from within our community, and beyond, join together in support of the campaign.

Following this success we decided to build ChuBacker, Churchill’s very own crowdfunding platform. ChuBacker has been launched to enable student-led initiatives to benefit the College community, as well as helping to fund key College priorities such as student bursaries.

Matt and Andrew Leach
And finally...

Another round of congratulations! This time to Matt Leach (U11) and his father Andrew for breaking the world record for the fastest half-marathon by a father and son. Matt ran 1:02:56 and Andrew, who is 56, ran 1:11:10 in Houston last month, beating the previous record of 2:20:33. We're tired just thinking about it!
