Interventions Into Harm & Accountability
Thursday, March 26th
5:30 PM - 7:40 PM
Beacon Hill Library
2821 Beacon Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98144
Intervening on violence can be intimidating for most people, however there is a lot one person can do without risking personal safety. We know how to intervene and de-escalate because we’ve done it before. Often, intervention skills are about naming and sharpening the ways we’ve already been effectively doing it. Intervention refers to a person deciding to voice their opinion about someone else’s language and/or behavior, thereby working to prevent violence or abuse.
***This training is required for all volunteers and open to public. No RSVP is required.***
