Happy Valentine's Day - a day early! There's enough going on - and for those folks that like to wait until the last minute to plan - I decided to get the 'Buzz out today instead. Cool things to see and do whether with a valentine, friends or yourself...get out and enjoy!!
ROCKET (RE)LAUNCH
So last Sunday's rocket launch was scrubbed with like 3 minutes to spare. It's been rescheduled twice and so far looks like it's set for tomorrow (Friday) at 3:43pm. The time hasn't changed for a couple of days so fingers crossed ;-) Click here for updates, info and live audio/video of the launch.
SEAL RESCUE
The MERR Institute rescued a seal pup this past Saturday on the beach at the Indian River Life Saving Station. Given the seriousness of the injuries around its neck and young age, they decided a trip to a rehab facility was it's best bet. A team of eight MERR volunteers assisted in the rescue, crating and transportation of the seal. As soon as they post updates, I'll let ya know!
