This Saturday, February 15, is QRP day in shady Charles Park.
Shade means lots of trees and great places for antennas.
Also, Charles Park Park has pavilions, tables and restrooms.
We'll start at 9:00AM. NOTE: Anyone, everyone who wants to arrive earlier will help save a pavilion.
There are plenty of parking spaces but you must park in one of them as there is no driving on the grass. The park has some restrictions:
* No pets
* No cooking/fires, etc.
* No remote controlled equipment (except Flex radios)
However, there are restrooms and electricity - plus coffee, bagels (donor needed), water and soda.

Also, mark your calendar for Skywarn Training on Thursday March 26 starting at 6pm at the IRC EOC.
Phase 1 training ends at 8pm. Following a 15 minute break, Phase 2 training will cover tsunami preparedness. Finish before 9pm. Look for a separate announcement with more detail.
