Decade of Action Our Expectations - The Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities (SGPwD) wishes to respond to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres call to the Decade of Action to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We are inviting all to share their views, recommendations and comments on what actions shall the UN system and governments take to realize the SDGs for persons with disabilities. The Stakeholder Group of Person with Disabilities invites you to join our first webinar of 2020 to discuss ways for persons with disabilities and their representative organizations to engage in Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) and the High-level Political Forum (HLPF).
 
Agenda:

We particularly encourage persons with disabilities to participate from countries volunteering to give national reviews at the 2020 High-level Political Forum. The 50 countries reporting this year, can be found here: https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/vnrs/

The Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities annually makes a submission to the UN advising on how to implement the Sustainable Development Goals for persons with disabilities. This year we would like to dedicate one chapter to youth with disabilities. Help us highlight what youth with disabilities think about the Sustainable Development Goals and to give attention to young people with disabilities in the global processes. In order to do this, we kindly ask youth with disabilities to complete the following short survey.
