Durham CAN Press Conference on McDougald Terrace
When: Fri Feb 14 (today!) Gathering at 11:45am
Where: Across the street from Durham Housing Authority
330 E Main St, Durham
Durham CAN will release a public letter responding to the current public housing crisis at McDougald Terrace and highlighting its work last year at Hoover Rd.
We invite Judea Reform Congregation members to join Rabbi Soffer and representatives from sister CAN organizations at the event today.
Summary and tips for attending
1. The press conference will be across the street from DHA (330 E. Main St.)
2. See this flyer Durham CAN would like at least 5 leaders from each institution to be present.
3. Because of the potential for some road closures due to a rally by candidate Bernie Sanders, it might make sense to come to the press conference from the Fayetteville St. side of Main St. or from Dillard and park in the Humans Services lot.
