COMPUTERIZATION OF MUSEUM FILES

The Manitoba Curling Museum collection continues to grow and one of our challenges is that the collection was started over 30 years ago and all of the acquisition records are on paper. We are undertaking a computerization of the records to, among other things, allow for the efficiencies which go with being able to search by keywords or by name.

We will soon be looking for a few volunteers who are able to work at their own pace in the data entry process. The data includes such things as when the artifact was used and by whom, who donated it, when was the donation made, and of course a brief description.

If you are interested in helping with this data entry project, please connect with the Manitoba Curling Museum by email: mbcurlmuseum@gmail.com.
