February 15th - Jim Woods & Friends with Matt Hawkins
If you want to take your sweet-heart out to dance for Valentine's Day (or you want to take your self out to dance for Valentine's Day), you are in luck: we have a great dance this weekend! Friday night is always crowded anyway, so come out Saturday night and paint the town red!
This week at the NACDS contra dance, the Jim Woods & Friends will play with calling by Matt Hawkins. The dance starts at 7:00 pm, after the 6:30 pm newcomer's workshop (which all are encouraged to attend!) at the Faith Presbyterian Church in south Huntsville, on the corner of Airport and Whitesburg Drive.
Note: Thanks for all the help with putting chairs and such away at the end of the night! Sometimes I look up and it is like the shoemaker elves have come by and put things away. Remember to bring a water bottle to help you stay hydrated. Even when it is cold out!
Remember that if you have signed up for your membership this year, but have not made your button, we will have the button making machine at the dance again. Remember to get your personalized button!
