WEEK 2 UPDATE
YEAR 9 'Meet the Teacher Evening'
Thursday 13th February, 6.00 pm - 7.30 pm in the College Gymnasium.
A warm invitation is extended to all parents and caregivers of boys in Year 9 to meet their sons' core subject teachers. We would appreciate your attendance in order to establish an effective partnership between home and school.
TBC Athletic Sports Day
Monday 17th February, 8.40 am at the Tauranga Domain.
All students will be involved in the Athletic sports. Key details that have been provided to your sons:
- Boys to make their own way to the Domain by 8.40am
- Bus boys' travel to school as normal and then they will be transported to the domain on another bus
- All competitive athletes will need to know their student ID numbers
- Bring food, water, hat, suitable footwear and sunblock (some sunblock will be provided)
- Boys to travel to and from the Domain in their PE uniform or school uniform (no mufti clothing)
- The 3000m competitive run will be held at 8.15am so these boys are urged to arrive at the Domain before 8am
An invitation is extended to all parents who may wish to attend.
SHORT TERM HOMESTAYS
Our International Department is looking for Homestays for short term groups from Japan. Homestay rates range from $45 - $60 per night and all students must be transported to school either by car or travel to / from college with their host brother. We have short term groups scheduled to arrive on the following dates:
- 23 - 30 March
- 14 June - 27 July (2 groups)
- 25 July - 15 August
