February has been a bit unromantic this year. It should be the most romantic month of the year, not because of Valentine's Day (although I'll always jump at another excuse to eat chocolate) but because of the 6th. Yes, that's my mother-in-law's birthday, but it's also our wedding anniversary (which my hubby always remembers because it's his mum's birthday).
This year, the day slipped by, celebrated by a 'happy love day' text message and a quick phone call. We didn't go out for dinner to celebrate twelve years of marriage. We didn't even get to see each other because he's away on a military training course. It's not the first anniversary we've been apart and it won't be the last but that's just part of military life. And we'll make up for it when he comes home.
To celebrate Valentine's Day, I'll be eating lots of chocolate and also participating in a Facebook party. If you like to discover new-to-you authors and enter giveaways, then come join us. Click the image below to go to the event page.
P.S.
I've just updated which book my newsletter subscribers get for free so I wanted to make sure you didn't miss out. Click on the image below to go straight to the download page for Cheek to Cheek.
If you've read any of my books and have a couple of minutes spare, I'd love it if you wrote a short review on Amazon, Goodreads or Bookbub.
