Our BRAND NEW Blissfully Blues at the Belfry kicks off on Friday - and we are convinced you're going to love it!
This is a luscious venue, with ample, well-lit parking, easily accessible from north, south, east and west! You can even book a room and enjoy the spa facilities, putting you in the perfect place to head to Buckden on Saturday... (Don't forget to get yourself on the Special List for reduced price entry too)
Because Saturday starts with our Creative Conversations workshop - a chance for intermediate and above level dancers to really be put through your paces...
And we're following this with our Charity Shop Party freestyle on Saturday night! All that you know and love about a Buckden Blues freestyle - with the added benefit of making a contribution to charity.
And that's not all! On Sunday evening our New-2-Blues Course starts in Buckden- so if you know anyone who is keen to make a start on their Blues journey, this course is a great place to begin. And then to finish things off we will be having our regular Buckden Blues class with added DJ Takeover - Half WOWer!
If that isn't a mega-weekend, I don't know what is!

Sundays in Buckden - from 7.30pm til 10.30pm.
Weekly - next class Sunday 16th Feb. Our regular class will start straight after New-2-Blues, so if you can get there early to dance with our new Bluesers during the warm-up - that would be fabulous!
Blue Monday in Harlow - from 8pm til 10.30pm.
Next class - Monday 17th Feb. We'll be at our usual venue (Moot House Hall CM20 3AG) this week.

Workshops, courses and BootCamp for 2020
New-2-Blues course - February 2020. If you know of anyone who is keen to make the transition into Modern Blues, do let them know.
Creative Conversation Workshop - Sat 15th Feb in Buckden. A workshop aimed at dancers of intermediate level or above. . How to become creative within the dance partnership - without sacrificing the principles of lead and follow.
New-2-Blues Workshop - Leicester, NEW! Sat 22nd February. A workshop designed to help you move from Modern Jive into Modern Blues with ease.
BeSwitched Workshop - Sat 21st March in Buckden. A second chance to join us for this very popular workshop! Smoothly and seamlessly learn how to share the lead and add an extra layer to your dance.
Bite-Size Blues - Sun 29th March in Buckden. In our next 2hr Sunday workshop we will be taking a piece of music and creating a flowing Bluesy sequence of movements to fit. You can then take it and use it with lots of other tunes too.
SLAM Workshop - Sat 18th April 2020 in Buckden. Craig Hawtree, a winner many times over at Crystal Blues, has agreed to come and share some of his dance knowledge with us. Suitable from basic to advanced level.
Blues BootCamp - 20th/21st June 2020 in Buckden. We believe the most effective way to boost your Blues Dancing (whatever stage you are at) is through a Blues BootCamp. Thorough, intense and fabulously effective.

Planning ahead
We have finalised most of our freestyle dates for 2020 now and you can find these on our Event Calendar on the website and also in our Annual Planner in a nice and neat list! I do like a good list!
The best way to learn to dance is at a dance class - but dance classes need your support to survive... We'd love to see you.
