Thank you to the Sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta from Gannon University for making beautiful Valentine's Day cards for our clients. "Alpha Gamma Deltas strive to attain a higher standard, thereby improving their lives, the lives of those around them, and the communities in which they live." The Valentines will certainly warm the hearts of our clients and bring smiles!

In Memorial

It is with sympathy we share the sad news that volunteer driver Mike Anderson passed away on January 30th. Mike was a dedicated driver and had volunteered for almost 6 years. He will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Volunteer Spotlights

Each month we would like to shine the spotlight on volunteers who really went above and beyond last month and give them a special thank you. These are the volunteers we would like to spotlight.

Richard Hermann, Volunteer Driver. Rich everyday does an act of kindness for Meals on Wheels Erie. It may be taking an additional last-minute route, delivering extra blizzard bags or just calling in to see if we need help. He is a great person and an excellent volunteer. Thank you Richard!

Red and Gwen Carlson, Grocery Shopping Program Volunteers. This dynamic duo has saved the day more times then we can count. They have been on the front line of some hi-jinks and rigmarole during shopping trips and have problem solved masterfully. Clients just adore them. Thank you Red and Gwen for you generosity and your kindness.
