Hey Leaders!

Did you get any snow today? Hopefully you got some well deserved rest, were able to sleep in just a little bit, and then get started with your day!

Week One Love Notes is in the books! Dating is such a weird subject for our group. They literally gossip about relationships all day, every day; we talk about dating in service and they get all weird. But truthfully, I think it went awesome!! A couple of shout outs:

To the incredible Jeff & Rena Peters, congratulations on your 41st Anniversary! We love having you guys on the team, you have amazing influence every week on our students and we are so lucky to call you friends!

Jose, great job on the game this week! You're getting better and better at managing the energy!

Natalie, thanks for being the best example in helping me explain what healthy dating looks like! You're the best!

You guys are amazing! I really can't brag on ya'll enough.
If you're interested, here's the email I sent out to parents. Don't feel like you have to re-listen to my message! But it's always good to know what we're communicating to parents.

After sending out the email yesterday morning, Pam Martinez replied back to us, "Thank you, Tyler and Natalie! This is awesome! We really appreciate you. <3" That goes to you guys too! We could not have the success we do without you!
Check out the parent email
Of the thirteen text we received on Sunday, six of them were, "What is Love?" So naturally I responded with, "baby don't hurt me". But we also got a few serious questions;

"Why is dating difficult?"
"Why is getting over someone so hard to do?"
"How do you deal with people?"

Which I guess that last one isn't about dating, per say, but we did give room when discussion "relationships".
(Did you notice last week the date was wrong? Camp is JUNE 8-12, not July. Shout out to Millie for noticing my mistake so I could fix it quickly before Sunday!)

Would you like to be a counselor this year to our Youth Camp? We'd love to have you! I think I have room for 4 men and 4 women (not including Natalie and me). The more students we bring the more counselors I can bring, and I'd honestly love to take all of you!

As well, will you pray for our group? That it'd be a transformational year that takes Harvest Youth to places it's never been? And just really practically, that we take more teenagers to camp than we've ever taken? I'd LOVE to take 60 students. We've been in the low 50s the last two years, which is amazing, but man I'd love to see our group continue to grow!
That's all I've got for this week! Natalie's up for this weeks dating message! I can't wait to hear what she's got!

Love you guys! Can't believe we get to do all this and that we get to do it all together.
