Another great night out!

Results are now online - how did you go?

Thanks to everybody that came along last night. The results, and a full event report, are now available at

Welcome to New Friends

If you attended your first Suburban Adventure Race this evening - welcome! We're thrilled to see so many people take part - particularly those that come along with family and friends.

If you plan to come along to subsequent events and you requested a PERMANENT tag when you registered, we'll do this before next week. When you come along next week, please check out the printed list of regulars - and find your name; your new tag number will be alongside your name.

Permanent tags are great - you don't have to fill in any forms, the computer knows who you are and what course you do and I don't have to type in lots of names at the end of the evening. Everybody wins!

Once you have a permanent tag, we're largely self-service - just grab your tag from the boards and head to the start when ready. Please be aware that during the holidays, we run in some complex areas - such as Deakin University. If you haven't run in such areas before, please see our coaches for a briefing and/or tips on how to navigate through such terrain.

We need your help

Please forward this email to others that you think might be interested in what happened at this event - let them know what a great time you had and encourage them to join as at an event in the future.

The series continues - every Tuesday evening - right through to the end of daylight saving. The series provides a great way to enjoy Melbourne's parks and gardens - whether you walk, run, push a pram or walk the dog. Check out our Coming Events Page to see if there's an event near you.

Scout Leaders

We provide this email so you can forward it to parents within your group - so they can see the sort of activities that scouting provides. As noted above, the series runs for 24 weeks through summer.

Map-reading, navigation and fitness all improve with practise.
The more times you take part - the better you'll get!

Next Week

We'll be running along the Dandenong Creek at Heathmont on our newly extended map of the area. Marie Wallace Reserve provides some wonderful control locations to entertain those that venture out to the East.
We have no desire to harass you with unwanted emails; please unsubscribe if you don't want to receive these emails in future.
