water cycleWater in the Landscape seminar
Thursday 12 March, 6pm
Coorparoo Bowls Club

A Brisbane Catchments Network event. Features a panel discussion and audience Q&A.

Guest panelists include Dr Paul Dennis (School of Environmental Science, UQ), Assoc Prof Karen Vella (School of Built Environment, QUT) & Cameron Jackson (Water Quality & Environment, Urban Utilities).

Sponsored by a Brisbane City Council Environment Grant and Port of Brisbane.
Tickets $10. Book your spot here.
Light refreshments served.

We'll be discussing the science, community, planning issues and policy surrounding water and soil health.

Humanity, through its activities (deforestation, agriculture, urbanisation), accelerates the runoff of rainwater and causes draining of the transformed land. Distortion of the small water cycle impacts the large water cycle.
