As I mentioned, my family and I live in <<city>>, GA. I participated in Strolling Thunder to raise awareness of the importance of investing in the first three years of life to give all babies the best chance to succeed. Investing in the earliest years of a child’s life is important and cost-effective because our brains grow faster between the ages of 0 to 3 than at ANY later point in our lives.
 
Brain development during the first few months and years of life has an enormous impact on how a child learns and grows throughout their lifetime. To lay a foundation for future success, Georgia’s youngest children and their families need access to high-quality, affordable child care, access to services and supports that promote healthy social-emotional development, and time for parents to bond with their babies.
