Walk with Your Valentine!

Yes, it's true, you can walk with your Valentine (or anyone else!) for Coldest Night of the Year on Saturday February 22, 2020.

Still not sure if Coldest Night of the Year is for you? Here are the top 3 questions about Coldest Night of the Year answered below...
  1. Is it really going to be on the COLDEST night of the year?  We aren't in control of the weather (wouldn't it be fun if we were!) but most likely, no, February 22 will not actually be the coldest night of the entire year.  Our first year was positively balmy!  Our walkers bundle up and enjoy a walk in the brisk weather.
  2. Is it really at NIGHT? Do I have to walk at midnight? Definitely not! Registration begins at 4pm, the walk starts at 5pm and depending on the distance you choose, you could be done before it even gets dark.  The route closes at 8pm so you definitely won't be walking at midnight.
  3. Does it really help Eagles Nest? Yes it does!  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Without the funds raised from this event our free programs like counselling, coaching, HEART program for kids, support groups would be adversely affected. Our goal for this walk is $30,000.  Will you help us reach that?
