Rendez Vous needs your help!
By Robert Massey
Rendez-Vous 2020 is coming to Calgary! Over 400 youth and young adults from across the United Church of Canada will be descending on YYC in August. It’s a huge celebration of all things youth-focused in the church.
But, to make this the best Rendez-Vous yet, we need your help! Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles including greeters, set up and take down and other roles.
     Submit your volunteer application HERE!
For more information on volunteering, please email the Local Arrangements volunteer coordinator Brenda Watt
We can’t wait to see you at RDV2020 in YYC! To find out more about Rendez-Vous, visit the official website.

Leaning into the future without fear!

If you are a member or leader of The United Church of Canada, you can imagine leaving familiar structures, expectations, and habits as we face massive change in our church, and social and political orders. You may also imagine roaming through the unknown, trying on different approaches and

searching for ideas to orient yourself – where are we? Who are we?
God is calling us to unfamiliar even unknown territory. This is the story of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt. Although the lives we lead may not be of biblical proportion, sometimes we, too, find ourselves on the edge of the unknown, anxious and fearful to move forward.
In dialogue with Keynote Speaker Matt Miofsky, join with companions and colleagues to connect with the sacred text of the Exodus, to lead us beyond fear and through our very own “wilderness” to a promising future.
