Finding a licenced contractor in Victoria
Victorian dried grape growers who use the services of labour hire businesses must ensure they are using a licenced provider.

Only licenced labour hire providers are allowed to operate in Victoria under the new Labour Hire Licensing Scheme, which came into effect on 30 October 2019.

Host employers that use an unlicensed provider will be exposed to significant fines, with a maximum penalty exceeding $500,000.

To find a licensed labour hire provider, see the Register of Licensed Labour Hire Providers on the Labour Hire Authority website.
New-look Vine magazine out now
The newly redesigned Vine magazine is now making its way out to growers and other industry members.

We can't wait for you to see what we've been working on over the past few months with the Australian Table Grape Association and a fantastic team of designers, contributors, photographers and advertisers.

Dried grape growers David Lyons and John Hunt are featured on the cover of the February edition. Their Red Cliffs properties are both part of DFA's Hort Innovation-funded benchmarking project, which has so far uncovered some outstanding results. See the cover story for details.

This issue also includes an update on our 10 Tonne Project and reports on last year's dried grape conferences, as well as biosecurity, climate, health, and processing and marketing news.

The Vine is also going digital! We look forward to sharing that with you soon.
