IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR GRADING ON SUNDAY 16TH FEBRUARY - LOCATION CHANGED TO NORMANHURST OVAL
Apologies for all the recent changes, but the rain and ground availability has meant that we have had to scramble to find a location in order to run our grading day as unfortunately the ground at Asquith boys is not able to be used.
Grading will now be held at NORMANHURST OVAL from 8am for players wanting to try out for the U8 Blue team (not compulsory) and for the age groups of U9 through to U12 at the times below. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes prior to your age groups times lot and make sure you have a water bottle and sunscreen applied. Shin pads and trainers only to be worn ( No Football boots - players will not be able to take the field if they are wearing football boots).
Players in the U13 - U16 age divisions will not be required to attend grading at this point. Further information will be made available as to whether any grading will be required for these age divisions based on player numbers.

Important Notes Regarding Grading:
- U8: The U8 competition is not graded in the NWSF competition, however each year we provide for one U8 Blue Side to play against similarly skilled sides in the competition. U8 players can try out for our Blue team on our grading day, however grading for U8 players is not compulsory. A team will only be placed in this competition if there are enough players to make a competitive side.
- Players must be registered in order to be graded.
- Please ensure you attend the grading days for your actual age E.g. If you are turning (or have turned) 10 this year, your actual age is Under 10. You are also welcome to request to grade in an older age group once your age group grading has been completed. Please contact your age coordinator if you are interested in playing up an age group.

- Each age-group will have multiple graders who have been sourced from age groups other than that of their own child and are experienced coaches, or are T3 coaches. The graders will not be coaching any children during the session and will be concentrating on assessing the children correctly. Coaches comments and feedback from 2019 will be taken into consideration. In order to allow the graders to asses all players fairly we ask that parents remain away from the field of play.
