Repeating a Course Using Grade Forgiveness?
To have a course that you are taking this Spring forgive a previous grade, you must complete the online Grade Forgiveness Petition on the Registrar’s website. The deadline to submit the petition for full term courses is the 10th Friday, March 20th.

KNOWLEDGE EXPRESSED (KXPRESS)
A Knowledge Exchange/Student Collaboration for Creative Science Communication
We know that students are creative and have great ideas for communicating knowledge. The Knowledge Exchange is looking to help amplify those ideas while providing scholarships up to $500 for selected finalists. We are looking for students to develop creative knowledge communication projects around one of a few Grand Challenges: water quality, rural-urban interface, farm and community stress, food security, and food waste. There is not a set submission format to follow. (Again, we’re looking for creativity!) More information and details about information sessions can be found here . Sustainability Institute Student Grants
The Sustainability Institute (SI) Student Grant process for spring 2020 is now open! SI is offering funding to support student research or projects in the areas of sustainability and resilience. Priority will be given to student academic research or projects that directly impact university operations, campus, or connect to our Columbus community and allow opportunities to use our campus as a living laboratory.
The maximum award per application is $5,000. This funding is open to all degree-seeking full-time undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from any academic discipline or unit, in good academic standing, and with a graduation date of spring semester 2021 or after.
The application form and supporting documents must be sent via email to Gina Jaquet, director of education and learning, by Friday, Feb. 21st at 11:59pm. Awards will be announced no later than Friday, March 20.

CFAES Student Council’s “Breaking the Boundaries” Discussion Panel
On February 26th, in the Ag Administration Auditorium, the CFAES Student Council is hosting a “Breaking the Boundaries” discussion panel in coordination with Dean Kress. This panel will be made up of a diverse group of faculty from within CFAES with a goal to examine the philosophical differences that exist among academic units in the college and overcome misconceptions and barriers between the majors and departments.
Doors will open at 5pm for food, refreshments, and mingling, and the panel will answer questions from 5:30-6:30pm.

The final event for the 5th Environmental Film Series on March 3rd will feature the 2018 documentary The Devil We Know, focused on the DuPont fiasco in West Virginia with waste disposal from the manufacturing of teflon, formulated with PFAO -- with serious human health and environmental problems. Film series events are free and open to all, in CBEC Room 130. Free pizza and beverages at 6:30 and the screening at 7:00. The internship allows students to be actively involved with the city’s sustainability and environmental stewardship efforts. The interns will work with David Celebrezze and the Office of Sustainability on a variety of programs. Specific tasks will include:
- Processing GreenSpot applications.
- Representing GreenSpot at community events through tabling and presentations (example Riverfest).
- Providing support to various GreenSpot Advisory Board committees.
- CDP reporting/Sustainable Annual Report.
- Assistance w/ social media execution related to Sustainable Steps and Sustainable Columbus.

I am looking for a babysitter primarily on Tuesdays from 3 pm to 7:30 pm, and occasionally on Fridays and Saturdays (afternoon). It would be preferable if the babysitter has experience working specifically with special needs children (autism), but any babysitting experience is helpful. My son is verbal and toilet trained. He needs redirection and help staying on task.
