clouding

Welcome to the opening of Simone Fezers first exhibition in Norway. It is with great pleasure we present clouding  - a site-specific installation, made during her month long residency, where she has been exploring our relationship to structures and how they shape our view of the world.

Photos and videos will be shown in a larger structure made out of live plants, growing from organic blown glass parts with textile appendixes, and wooden planking from traditional Norwegian houses.  She will also be showing a looming fleshy cloud, interspersed with large, shiny and bright mirrored spheres, resting overweight on the thin branches of shrubs in black plastic flower pots, slowly disappearing into the waves of a rising sea. Artist Talk

Simone Fezer + Linda Morell

The Artist talk will be followed by a demonstration in the Hot Shop, with Simone Fezer and Jessie Blackmer

We look forward to be hearing more about their artistic practises.

The presentation will be streamed, and later made accessible on our new webpage.

New web pages

S12 is launching new web pages Monday 10th of February. 

The page will have a more user friendly design, and will include archives over previous exhibitions and artists in residence.  With time it will become a complete digital archive over our activities and a resource about glass as an artistic medium.
