We invite you to come and join our volunteers for the last hot chocolate sale of the season, tomorrow, Feb. 7. Meet at School after drop-off to set up, have coffee with friends, and prepare for the rush of thirsty children at 10:15.

Mimosa Walk, Circuit du Grand Duc – Sunday, Feb. 9

The mimosas are in full bloom and we will meet at 9:45am in the parking lot at the beginning of the Circuit du Grand Duc, and be ready to leave by 10am on Sunday, Feb. 9.
Look for Promenades du Tanneron on Google Maps, or Circuit du Grand Duc on Apple Plans, or 1258 route du Tanneron, Mandelieu-la-Napoule on your GPS.

Bake Sale for COBIS Games – Feb. 10
|
|
|
|
In order to bring their contribution to the cost of the trip to Cobis Secondary Games in Brussels, students from Form 7 and 8 are organising another fundraising activity. Look for them at drop-off and pick-up time on Monday, Feb. 10, as they will sell cakes, popcorn and cupcakes, and please stop by to meet and support them.
We remind you that on March 26-30, 16 of our students from Form 7 and 8 will give their best to represent Mougins School as Athletes in the COBIS Secondary Games in Brussels. They will compete in Athletics, Soccer and Swimming!

Two Very Special Events this Week

They’re off! COBIS Student World Debate Competition 2020
|
|
|
Six students, members of our Mougins School Debate Club, along with two of their teachers, left for Marbella Wednesday morning where they will represent the School at the COBIS Student World Debate Competition 2020.
The PTA is a proud sponsor of the Club and provided their travel gear complete with the Debate Club very own colours and logo. We wish them the best of luck, but remember that it’s all about taking part and living a great experience.
Thanks to Mrs. Lecoy, Mrs. Achilli and Mr. Carver for setting up Mougins School’s Debate Club and for organising the students’ participation to this international competition, and thanks to Sophie for taking care of the uniforms and club branding.

Early Years & Reception – Playground Project Update
|
|
|
This last Wednesday morning, a great group of parents volunteered their time and efforts working with Richard and Dawn (Mougins School Consultants) to continue improving the playground.
The volunteers tackled the major tasks with enthusiasm and many exciting new outdoor learning elements are now available to our younger children.
A big THANK YOU to those who helped Wednesday! Our children really appreciate!

All the proceeds from last week's hot chocolate sale went to Mimosa. Mimosa volunteers and our own volunteers raised 235€ to help the fight against cancer.
Congratulations to all and special thanks to Ruth, Gemma, Linda, Daniela, Tanya and Christiaan!
Mimosa is an association committed to the fight against Cancer. Based in the Riviera, its foundation is built around three fundamental pillars – education, awareness and prevention.

Dads’ Bedlam Dinner - Tuesday, Feb. 4

Dads’ from about 10 different countries got together for dinner last Tuesday. Many lively exchanges, but one common thread, children at Mougins School. A great evening, thanks Adam for organising.
