Welcome to Spring!
Welcome back properly! We know it's been a slow couple of weeks from our end; we'll be getting up to speed from now on. For now, we've got a lot to say!
- Our first All-Member-Meeting! We still need to set the room and the exact time, but you can expect it to be Tuesday, February 18th, between 11am and 1pm. We'll announce the exact time and place next week.
- SSF Is Closed: as always, SSF applications are very competitive. This year, we ran out of funding within 10 minutes of opening the form. We'll be getting acceptance and rejection letters out in the coming weeks.
- An Event Honoring Charles Desmond: GEO is honored to co-sponsor Salute To Those Who Served, a Black History Month celebration honoring Charles Desmond, and hosted by the William Joiner Institute and the UMass Boston Chapter of the NAACP. The event is this Tuesday at 1.30pm in the Alumni Lounge. If you're interested, RSVP at the Eventbrite here.
- Bargaining Survey: We need your help. The survey was designed to take less than 15 minutes--want to not think about starting classes for a few minutes? Take the bargaining survey by clicking here!
- Office Hours: We're happy to announce our office hours for this semester. Tuesday and Thursday from 10.30 to 2.30, and Wednesday from 1.30 to 5.00. Swing on by and chat.
We're still getting back into the swing of things: starting next week, we'll be sending out the Graduate Advocate regularly and getting things moving along.
