Drop off and pick up near the Kinder classrooms at the corner of Orange Ave. and Birch Street is extremely congested. Please park away from that particular corner as much as possible to allow for a line of sight for little people, turn off your car and hold your child’s hand and walk to class together. Please move your car quickly to allow others access to our limited space to do the same. It’s tricky, but we’re a great family so I know we can continue to make this happen consistently.
This is also a friendly reminder to be highly alert to the student walkers, bikers, strollers, and many families that are coming and going in that very little space each day. Please give yourself the time you need each morning for this part of your routine to be less rushed and to have time to walk a bit from a parking place that may not be as close to that corner.
Please know that if you’re running late, we understand and have been very generous in not marking tardies for infrequent occurrences. We get it that life doesn’t always align with our clocks, but safety is always the highest priority. A perky, happy pace is a safe pace for all.
Thank you families for being extra eyes, friendly smiles, and warm greetings each day to students and staff. We appreciate you all and adore your children.

We're here to show you the ropes and teach you what we've learned, then the Fun Run is yours for 2021! Our Fun Run is a sweet and simple annual spring event, and a lucrative fundraiser for our school community and other communities in PPS.
