The Prayer of Faith
While we don’t have a thorough biography of Hannah More Kohaus, we know this poem was a favorite of Myrtle Fillmore’s.

Creation
Are our lives predestined by fate, or do we have free will to create our lives? Could it possibly be both? What actually is the creative Power within the Universe? And how can we use this creative Power in shaping our own lives?
The truth is we are always creating our experiences in life, either by design or by default. Come join me this Sunday as we explore Unity Principle #3, the Creation Principle, and how we can more consciously learn to use this Principle in creating lives we truly love every day!
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday!!
Liz

Metaphysics 1B, Session 3
Are there really two selves? You are you and you will always be you. But, you also a sum total of all your changing opinions about you. Jesus taught that we must “deny ourselves and follow…” Who is that self that Jesus asks us to deny? We will unravel all and all about the selves that we are in this interesting discussion on Thursday, Feb. 6th, at 6pm with Rev. Jim as facilitator.
Metaphysics 1B, Session 4
Unity views resurrection as an ongoing process. We also see salvation as a process, rather than a state of “having it made.” Jesus saves is a correct statement, metaphysically explained, as is being “saved from hell.” Hell is a biblical symbol. We will discuss this concept and also show where the church invented hell as a place in order to threaten and control. Do you want to explore all this shades of this mythical place?
Metaphysics 1B, Session 5
A key concept in Unity teachings are the denials and affirmations. Thoughts are things; they occupy space in the mental field. A healthy state of mind is attained and continued when the thinker lets go of old thoughts and takes on the new. Finally, we will take a look at faith – the perceiving power of mind linked with a power to shape substance.

People are asking, "How can I donate to Unity?"
Some folks have expressed curiosity on how to best donate regularly even when they can’t attend services. We want to make it as easy as possible for you, so we offer several options:
~ Go to our “Links” page on our website (unityfc.org/links) and click on the “Donate” button. After clicking on it, you will be taken to a Paypal page. From there, you can choose to make a one-time payment, or you can choose to make it monthly. You can use your debit/credit card or your Paypal account.
~ Set up a one-time or reoccurring payment through your own bank with their "Bill Pay." You will need our address, below. Then your bank mails Unity a check(s).
~ Snail mail a check to us (1401 West Vine Dr., 80521).
~ Call the office and make a donation by credit/debit card (970-482-1620).
~ Come by the office and bring cash, card or check.
Office hours are Sun - Thurs, 8:30am - 11:30am.
Many, many thanks! Your kind contribution of love in the form of money is always welcome and so appreciated!
